The Edmund Ruffin Fire-Eaters SCV Camp #3000 will host “The Battle of Haw’s Shop” at the fifth annual Dixie Days.  This will take place on June 14-15, 2008 at The Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, Virginia. 

This event is FREE to spectators.  All we ask is for you to pick up one of our sponsor programs and support the sponsors who help us put this event on each year.  We cannot do it without them!

You are invited to join us between 10AM and 4PM on Saturday June 14 and between 10AM and 2PM on Sunday June 15.  There will be a battle each day, 2PM Saturday and 12PM Sunday.  In addition to the battles we will have living history, period and non-period vendors, bands, and speakers.  You are also invited to walk through both the CSA and USA camps throughout the weekend.
